Held twice a year, Kerr Games provides a chance for the youth in Albertina Kerr’s neighborhood group homes to participate in a day filled with camaraderie and competition, sports, activities and a talent show. Staff and youth work together, and everyone is a winner.
Albertina Kerr operates a total of 17 neighborhood group homes for youth that offer 24-hour support and life skills training for children and teens ages 7 to 18 with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges that require specialized care and treatment.
For the kids and teens, our homes create a solid, safe and nurturing environment. Children are comforted knowing they have a place to call home and enjoy the privacy of their own bedroom. The goal is to provide these youth with the skills they need to live as independently as possible when they reach adulthood.
